Anushka Patel earned her BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She currently resides in New York City, where she continues to develop her artistic practice. She began her artistic journey at the age of 13, during which she encountered a period of creative stagnation that led her to step away from her practice for a time. After a period of reflection, she has recently re-engaged with her creative process, culminating in her first solo exhibition at the renowned Chelsea gallery, Xposed.NYC. Her work explores themes of identity, memory, and the passage of time.

Working across various mediums—including wood, canvas, paper, and screen printing—she employs techniques such as wood burning, pen drawing, pencil sketching, and printmaking to create intricate visual narratives. Each piece is the result of a deeply personal process of self-discovery, cultivating intimacy with the self, and revealing one&Apos;s truest and most authentic nature. Her art bridges the personal and the universal, inviting viewers to engage with the narratives embedded in her work while discovering connections to their own stories.

Anushka invites viewers to cultivate an intimate relationship with her work, where the act of exploration becomes a journey of self-discovery, revealing both personal insights and the layered meanings embedded within the art.
